Abstract:
This paper presents a single-phase matrix converter for safe commutation with for various loads in variable frequency applications. Matrix converter mainly used to converting AC-AC with fixed input AC into Variable AC. The paper analyzes single-phase Matrix converter and ultra sparse matrix converter based converter topologies are simulated with various loads. The proposed topologies of single phase matrix converter and ultra sparse matrix converter are provides with nominal output voltage and currents are obtained with R, RL and Motor Loads. it provides better harmonic content, input voltage utilization and variable load . sinusoidal wave modulation signals in PWM generation have been used to demonstrate the effect of the modulating signal on the input voltage utilization and output harmonic content. Simulation and experimental results for R , RL loads are presented. Promising results illustrate that a good performance of a single-phase matrix converter and ultra Sparse matrix converter is achievable.
