In the present study, due to low tensile strength, cracks are common phenomena of concrete, through which the transport of harmful organic and inorganic substances causes early degradation of the concreting structures. Formation of cracks in concrete structures is inevitable due to the degradation throughout its service life because of which various load and non-load factors. Using this concept of Bacterial concrete is a promising solution for the cracks. The Subtilis bacteria is the bacteria which increases the compressive strength of standard grade concrete about 15% at 28 days, and which also shows an improvement and betterment in split tensile strength compared to conventional concrete. Thus, this project emphasis on the concept of preparing a concrete based on bacteria which can help to resolve the problem of cracking economically without the use of the destructive method to enhance the durability of concrete structures.
