Location Based Energy Efficient Routing Protocols in Wireless Sensor Networks
Geographic Routing, Location information, Wireless Sensor Networks.
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), is a system of nodes connected by wireless links, where nodes exploration is highly possible. The nodes can move freely within a network and move around it to form a network. The network topology will change frequently and flat routing schemes are possible only for small networks. Some type of geographical or hierarchical routing protocols is needed for larger networks. Location information of nodes are needed for geographical routing, to formulate an efficient route search toward the destination. Some of the major routing protocols for WSNs are used.
