Power quality, voltage sag, voltage swell, surge suppressor
One of the major observed in distribution load system (Residential load) in recent days power quality. Maintaining clean power in a domestic electrical supply system has always been the motto of electricity supplier. Power quality includes. Some aspects like over voltage ,under voltage sag, swell ,surge etc. It is last only for a few cycles but it can damaged the domestic electrical equipment as well as industrial electrical equipment’s. A surge is a transient wave of voltage and current. This duration is not more period specified but it usually 50 to 180 milliseconds but this is very dangerous for our electrical load. I can damaged insulations for e.g motor winding, as well as television circuit board etc. lighting, utility switching including capacitor switching, equipment switching & switching inductive loads.the variation in supply system voltage for protection of electrical household appliances equipment in case of overvoltage protection. The many electronics devices are very sensible towards voltage variation comes .In a supply system equipment’s are easily damaged. Voltage sag and swell is a temporary drop and up voltage +- 90% of the nominal voltage level for few cycles & milliseconds thus our system is designed for elimination of surges, overvoltage, sag and swell etc.
