TECHNICAL ANALYSIS ON A STOCK USING DIFFERENT TECHNICAL TOOLS

Investment timing plays a major role in the stock market. Investors face difficulties while finding opportunities. The researcher after analyzing the research paper found that technical analysis plays a key role in order to study the future behavior of stocks. This topic has been chosen by the researcher to study the trending technical tools used by many technical analysts like, how these tools help the investors to make a rational investment decision, how an investor can get buy/sell signals through these tools and how these tools are different but beneficial for the investors. The Research design included secondary sources to meet the objective of the research. The Research was done using the historic stock data of “Reliance Industries ltd” from 1st January 2020 till 3rd July 2020. The tools that are used for the research are, Simple Moving Average (SMA), Exponential Moving Average (EMA), Relative Strength Index (RSI) and Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD). Many of the investors and traders do not rely on technical analysis, as it is complex in nature. The reason for conducting this study is to help the investors and traders to understand these tools easily. This research paper can also help them to make better investment decisions in the stock market.
