Paper Title: The Study of Tensile Test and Impact Test of Dissimilar Welding By MIG and MAW Process

Abstract: in this paper discussed about the dissimilar welding on steel sheets. The two sheets are mild steel and stainless steel. Both sheets are thick; both are join by MIG and MAW welding process. The dimensions of sheets are 200mm X 200mm X 4mm, 5mm, and 6mm. In this paper also discussed about the tensile test and impact test strength of weld joint. The main goal of this investigation to find the value of strength of weld joint and also the value of impact strength of weld joint. In this paper consider two types of weld joint, butt joint and groove joint. The process of sample making are 5 sample for groove weld joint and 5 sample for butt joint made by MIG welding. Same parameter 5 sample for groove weld joint and 5 sample for butt weld joint made by MAW welding process. The main goal of also to comparison between MIG welding joint and MAW welding joint have high strength, who is make the strong weld joint.
