Abstract:
Spinal anesthesia is a popular technique used for lower limb surgeries & Lower segment cesarean section, it is the safest procedure than general anesthesia, but it causes hypotension due to vasodilatation. To tackle the hypotension, IV fluids & vasopressors were used. In this study, we conclude that a prophylactic dose of IV ephedrine of 10mg-15 mg is enough to combat hypotension.
