This paper reviews lepton-hadron deep inelastic scattering and its contribution to finding the internal structure of nucleons. This paper focuses on the contribution of DIS’s momentum transfers in calculating a proton’s internal structure using Parton distribution functions and structure functions of the Parton model. The level of discussion is moderate, and the reader should have some prior knowledge of particle physics and quantum mechanics.
