New Records of Zygnema Agardh From Supaul District of North Bihar, India

The present paper deals with the description of three taxa of the genus Zygnema Agardh from different localities of Supaul district of North Bihar. Out of these , Z. normani TAFT is the first record from Bihar, Z. cruciatum (VAUCHER) AGARDH is the second record from Bihar, while another one i.e., Z. subcruciatum Transeau var. major var. nov. is new to science.
