Study of biophysical interactions have been carried out using specific combination of proteins such as Brucella abortus cell envelop protein (as antigen) and its complementary antibody (raised in mice and rabbit). MWCNT Paste electrodes (MWCNTPEs) were used in this study. Linear range was found in the range of 2.5 µg/mL–100 µg/mL. The detection limit was found 1 ng/mL. By ELISA it is possible to detect 50 µg/mL only. Experiments were conducted using 110 suspected patient serum samples and results were compared with ELISA and Rose Bengal Plate test (RBPT). The immunosensor was found to be highly sensitive compared to ELISA and RBPT. We also studied the shelf life of prepared immunosensor. The shelf life of immunosensor was found to be 44 days.
