| Abstract: | Historically, the uncommon Indian medicinal herb Ehretia laevis has been employed. Various products made from the plant include decorations, pot herbs, wood and stone dye, medications, wines, and cosmetics. There is a huge opportunity for the discovery of new drugs to treat human health issues because the plant kingdom has not been sufficiently investigated for its medicinal potential. In the Indian state of Maharashtra, Ehretia Laevis Roxb. has historically been applied locally to treat wounds and manage pain. Pharmacological research has proven that the genus's raw extracts or specific compounds have anti-snake venom, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-arthritic, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. An objective of this review paper is to know more about the plant Ehretia laevis roxb for the further study of research in Cosmetics. |
