The purpose of the project is to detect fake news information that are circulated on social media feed, news blogs and online newspaper.Focusing on the identification of fake content in the news articles. First we introduce a dataset for the task of fake news detection and outline our approach, which includes Logistic Regression and natural language processing techniques to classify fake news. Our methodology involves tokenization, stop word-removal, stemming and exploratory data analysis to enhance the quality of the dataset. And then data is splitting into training and testing method through logistics regression aim to classify news articles as either true or false based on linguistics patterns to evaluate the performance metrics. The implementation of logistic regression allows for rapid analysis and the potential for improved accuracy with extensive trained data to identifying fake news.
