C-D Channel, toxic emission free, burning rate adjuster, energy efficient charcoal stove.
An energy efficient solid biomass stove is design to eliminates incomplete combustion that will generate toxic gas- carbon II oxide (CO),accelerate heating with provision convergent-divergent (C-D) channel to reduce and build up pressure at the base of the cooking pot . The aeration from the natural draft favoures complete combustion at the charcoal bed and a provision of adjustment of the perforated burner with dilution, primary and secondary holes radially helps to varying the burning rate to compensate the mass of food on the stove. Besides, other parametric factors that will promote the thermal efficiency and performance of the solid biomass stove were investigated
