Abstract:
Routing schemes within wireless sensors are searched over to conserve energy and increase the lifetime of the network. To this end, several protocols are worked upon and this paper provides an in-depth study of AODV, DSR, and ABR. The performance analysis of these protocols is indicated in comparative form. The comparative results include metrics like a lifetime, number of jobs executed, energy efficiency and waiting period. The optimization in the protocols must be accommodated to achieve higher efficiency. Packets are accumulated at the cluster head and if during that period if the cluster head lost its energy than all the jobs present at that system will be lost. This must be avoided and protocols AODV, DSR, and ABR work to achieve that.
