Abstract:
A simple, Accurate, precise method was developed for the simultaneous estimation of the Clindamycin and Miconazole in Tablet dosage form. Chromatogram was run through BDS C8 150 x 4.6 mm, 5m. Mobile phase containing Buffer 0.01NKh2PO4 (4.8PH): Acetonitrile taken in the ratio 60:40 was pumped through column at a flow rate of 0.8 ml/min. Buffer used in this method was 0.01NKh2po4 (4.8PH) buffer. Temperature was maintained at 30°C. Optimized wavelength selected was 220.0 nm. Retention time of Clindamycin and Miconazole were found to 2.143 min and 2.949 min %RSD of the Clindamycin and Miconazole were and found to be 0.5 and 0.5 respectively. %Recovery was obtained as 100.67% and 100.28% for Clindamycin and Miconazole respectively. LOD, LOQ values obtained from regression equations of Clindamycin and Miconazole were 0.34, 1.03 and 0.22, 0.66 respectively. Regression equation of Clindamycin is y = 5605.x+5008 y = 9193x+3755 of Miconazole. Retention times were decreased and run time was decreased, so the method developed was simple and economical that can be adopted in regular Quality control test in Industries.
