ANALYTICAL TECHNIQUES FOR THE ESTIMATION OF PHARMACEUTICAL DRUGS IN PURE AND TABLET DOSAGE FORMS

The Present study describes simple, accurate, precise UV spectrophotometric method for the simultaneous estimation of Chlorthalidone in tablet dosage form. The method involved measurement of absorbance at 340.8ג max. Linearity was observed range 0.067 µg/ml to 0.186 µg/ml and (r2= 0.996). The percentage RSD for the recovery study was less than 2. The methods were validated as per ICH guidelines.
