Abstract : The internet of Things(IoT) is transforming the way we live and work by connecting every day devices to the internet. In the context of smart homes and offices, IoT applications allows for increased automation and control of various systems, such as lighting, heating, security, and entertainment. This results in improved efficiency, convenience, and comfort for users. These technologies have the potential to greatly enhance the user experience and provide valuable insights into energy usage and other data. It examines the advantages of using IoT technology to automate and control various aspects of a home or office environment, such as lighting, temperature, security, and energy management. It also looks at the challenges of implementing such systems, including cost, complexity, and privacy concerns. Internet of Things (IoT) applications in the context of smart houses and offices.
