Factors Affecting the Effective Implementation of Local NGOs Projects in Yemen

The purpose of this research was to examine factors affecting the effective implementation of local NGOs projects in Yemen. The study primarily examines the effects of communication, planning, financing, and monitoring and controlling on the effective implementation of local NGOs projects in light of the existing legal and socio-cultural variables amongst local NGOs in Yemen. This study employs the quantitative approach where the data was collected by using questionnaires. It is an explanatory study and it aims to examine some developed hypotheses. This study targeted local NGOs in Taiz governorate, and the sample size was 56 local NGOs selected randomly. The response rate was 82%. This study finds that planning, communication, financing, and monitoring and controlling are explaining the effective implementation of projects in local NGOs in Taiz governorate, Yemen. In addition, planning is significant to the effective implementation of projects for local NGOs in Taiz governorate. Furthermore, planning and communication have a significant influence on the effective implementation of projects in the presence of legal factors in Taiz governorate. This implies the importance of considering all factors of planning, communication, financing, monitoring, and controlling in managing projects rather than considering one individual factor when concerning the effective implementation of a project.
