| Abstract: | the main roots of literature exists in the folk literature. Folk is the first step of the human development. folk is the main knowledge of the life evolves. the overall beginning and the main traditional of the human life is found in the folk literature. The ' garatiya haadugalu' book has got the importance and popularity in the kannada folk literature. there are 16 tripadi porms explaining about the devotion, belief in god and regarding environmental prayers.
