Government-driven initiatives like "Make in India," the Automotive Mission Plan 2016-26, and tax incentives geared towards research and development underscore the commitment to bolster the growth of the Indian automotive industry. This sector continues to attract significant international investments, witnessed through expansions, technology collaborations, and production enhancements by global automotive companies, solidifying India's stature on the global automotive stage.
