Cancer is a disease in which some of the body's cells grow uncontrollably and spread to other parts of the body. Chemotherapy works to stop tumor growth and cell division, which prevents invasion and metastasis. However, because chemotherapy also has an impact on normal cells, this leads to hazardous side effects This prospective study aims to investigate the unintended consequences associated with the administration of the anti-cancer drug regimen Cisplatin. Cisplatin, a platinum based chemotherapeutic agent, is widely used in the treatment of various malignancies. While it's efficacy in targeting cancer cells is well-documented, there is a growing concern about its potential adverse effects on healthy tissues and organs. This study will enroll a diverse cohort of cancer patients undergoing cisplatin treatment and will closely monitor and analyze the occurrence of unintended consequences such as nephrotoxicity, ototoxicity, neurotoxicity, and other systemic effects.
