Abstract

This study evaluates groundwater conditions based on well inventory data from selected villages. The dataset includes well dimensions, geology, and seasonal water levels during pre-monsoon and post-monsoon periods. The results reveal that groundwater levels fluctuate significantly across the study area, reflecting the influence of lithology, depth, and recharge conditions. Post-monsoon measurements indicate substantial recharge in most wells, highlighting the importance of monsoonal rainfall in replenishing groundwater resources. This paper emphasises the need for sustainable groundwater management strategies tailored to local hydrogeological settings.
